Lowepro Primus AW camera backpack usage

The Lowepro Primus AW camera backpack could be described as a ‘hybrid’ camera backpack because it can be used for one purpose – photography, or it can be used for two purposes, one of which has nothing to do with photography.

To expand on this, some camera backpacks are intended to be used entirely for storing cameras and other photography equipment, and some camera backpacks can be used for this purpose and as kind of mini backpacking backpacks.
‘Mini’ because the backpacking compartments in these backpacks aren’t very spacious; they are really suitable for a day’s hiking, the kind of hiking trip where you don’t plan to take any serious camping stuff with you.
I’m kind of hoping that the ‘mini backpacking compartments’ in this camera backpack are also suitable for photography equipment, but if not it isn’t really an issue, it will just be an extra bonus.
